2007 Roaring Red, Propriety Blend, California

This wine is a delicious blend of Ray Teldeschi's vineyard Syrah, Dry Creek Valley (55%), Napa Valley and Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon (23%), Napa Valley Malbec (9%), Contra Costa County Mourvedre (6%), Napa Valley Petite Verdot (5%) and Napa Valley Merlot (2%).

The wine is a bold, highly approachable, easily paired, ready-to-drink, fruity blended wine from Northern California.  It has opaque ruby color; intensity aromas of plum, black cherry, cassis, tobacco, fruitcake, and cigar box; the mouth-coating, concentrated, layered flavors build on the aromas with a long-lasting pomegranate and orange peel finish over soft, chewy tannins.
