Lemon Champagne Sorbet
Makes 1 quart Ingredients: 2 cups of water ¾ cup of sugar 4 cups of Brut Champagne 2 tablespoons of Lemon Zest Juice from 3 lemons Directions: - Put lemon zest and water in a non-reactive sauce pan.
- Heat the water to a simmer.
- Completely dissolve the sugar in the water.
- Cool the mixture to room temperature.
- Put the Champagne and lemon juice in the mixture.
- Chill for 20 minutes.
- Follow the instructions on how to chill sorbet in an ice cream maker.
